What Is Laser Speckle?

Due to its non-contact, non-invasive, and fast imaging advantages, laser speckle imaging technology is very suitable for measuring blood microcirculation. Laser speckle technology can be used to measure microcirculation parameters such as vascular diameter, vascular density, blood flow velocity, and blood perfusion. By examining the structure, function, and metabolic activity of microcirculation blood vessels, we can study the patterns and pathological mechanisms of microcirculation changes in basic pathological processes such as inflammation, edema, bleeding, allergies, shock, tumors, burns, frostbite, and radiation damage. This is of great significance for disease diagnosis, disease analysis, and treatment measures.
